Christian dancers, keep your passion in dancing for Jesus!

Welcome to the unofficial blog of the Creative Dance Ministry of Glad Tidings Petaling Jaya. We are a group of ordinary yet beautiful (in God's eyes, at least :P) people who just simply love to worship the Lord in dance and the arts. As we share our ministry journey here in our own simple ways, we hope all
who visit will be blessed and inspired.

Theme: Olympics - Figure Skating

Thought with the Olympics less than a month away, we could get into the mode by taking a look at some arts in sports. Let's start with figure skating. Although we usually see 3 types of ice skating events in the Winter Olympics, did you know that there are about 10 types of figure skating categories in general? Visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figure_skating for all the stuff you need to know about this graceful sport. Don't you feel the cool wind blowing through your hair already :D

Shizuka Arakawa 荒川靜香, born Dec 29, 1981, is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2006 Olympic Champion and the 2004 World Champion. Arakawa is the first Japanese figure skater to win the Olympics. Retired, she currently skates professionally in exhibition programs, and works as a skating sportscaster on Japanese television. Here are snapshots of her in a Spiral and a Donut Spin. Shizuka also performs to Beyonce's Listen in the video.
